Truman Fitzgerald Attorney at Law
I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
On October 1, 2007, I was in a car accident that left my left arm permanently disfigured and damaged. It happened during a difficult time in my life, but I knew I had to keep fighting and find a way through.
In 2010, I fell in love with Law after taking my first Law course at UAB, Introduction to the Judicial Process in America. I became a police officer in 2011, which was a dream come true for me. My love for Criminal Defense and the United States Constitution inspired me to complete law school at Birmingham School of Law and become an attorney (2021).
My experiences as a personal injury plaintiff and a police officer have blessed me with firsthand knowledge of the American civil and criminal systems. What I love most about being a personal injury attorney and a criminal defense attorney is practicing in areas of Law that impact people’s lives. I enjoy telling my clients’ stories while fighting for them against the powerful insurance companies and criminal justice system.
